DRIVER UNLOADS
Flex drivers must be willing to run both solo and team routes within the states of IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO and WI. You’ll be responsible for filling in for drivers who are out sick, on vacation, etc. Work consists of delivering aftermarket parts (loose package pieces i.e. hoods, bumpers, doors, etc.) to car dealerships. You must be comfortable maneuvering a tractor-trailer in tight corridors in car lots in Chicago (primarily) at night. This is a more challenging route – the ideal drivers will be comfortable with city driving (Chicago) as they frequent the city often.
Shifts are Monday-Friday, with start times varying between 5pm-1am, depending on if you’re running solo or teams. End times will vary, depending on start time, but you’ll usually runs 8-12 hours, ending the next day. Home time depends on the route you’re on. If you live close to Davenport, you could see home daily/nightly but are guaranteed to be home by Saturday night and then back out Monday evening.
Compensation is based on mileage and stop pay. The mileage rate is up to $0.52 CPM for solo and $0.31 for teams based on verifiable experience. Stop pay is $12.00 for solo and $14.00 (split) for teams. Average weekly pay is $1,362 with a guarantee of $1,350.

EQUIPMENT INFO:
International Pro Stars and Freightliner Cascadias. All trucks are equipped with automatic transmissions, and the company is open to reviewing applicants who hold an automatic-only restriction. The average age of the tractors ranges from 2022 to 2024, ensuring drivers have access to newer, well-maintained equipment.
Trucks have to be left at the terminal in El Paso, TX for time off but they are permanently assigned to its driver, promoting consistency and familiarity with the vehicle. For safety, the trucks feature both front-facing and driver-facing cameras, which activate only during specific events. Speed is regulated at 67 mph for both cruise control and pedal operation and are equipped with inverters to support drivers’ electrical needs on the road. Riders and pets are not allowed.
